WEEK 4: VERBS

NOUN TYPES


1-Common Noun (Cins İsim)

Common nouns are nonspecific.
Example: 
table, 
book, 
window, 
friends etc…

2-Proper Noun (Özel İsim)

Proper nouns are specific.
Example: 
John, 
Anna, 
London, 
Pacific Ocean etc…

3-Abstract Noun (Soyut İsim)

No perceive with five senses.
Example: 
freedom, 
love, 
courage etc…

4-Concrete Noun (Somut İsim)

Perceive with five senses.
Example: 
apple, 
dog, 
house, 
flower etc…

5-Countable Noun (Sayılabilir İsim)

You can count.
Example: 
pen/pens, 
orange/oranges, 
bike, 
house etc…

6-Uncountable Noun (Sayılamaz İsim)

You can not count.
Example: 
bread, 
money, 
milk, 
food, 
water, 
snow, 
rice etc…

7-Compound Noun (Bileşik İsim)

Two or more words
Example: 
sister-in-law, 
schoolboy, 
fruit juice, 
textbook etc…

8-Collective Noun (Topluluk İsmi)

a group
Example: 
bunch, 
audience, 
flock, 
group, 
family etc…

9-Singular Noun (Tekil İsim)

one person, place, or idea
Example: cat, 
dog, 
ship, 
monkey, 
hero etc…

10-Plural Noun (Çoğul İsim)

more than one person, place, or idea
Example: dogs, 
cats, 
ships, 
babies etc..

SHEX (Sundays and Holidays Expected)
